And if thats you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionYou will provide customer support and engineering through the performance of small projects, on-site installation, and troubleshooting, service, and repair of equipment. The Field Service Engineers work with our customers to maintain a thoughtful and productive manufacturing system.We ask that you have vision, creativity, technical engineering expertise, and a willingness to travel. Ensure that the individual parts of a system can work together to perform the desired application. Take ownership of the complete system or solution, which encompasses RA, third-party, and user aspects, not only the individual components. Be able to increase the application of all RA family of products and portfolio offerings to meet customer''s needs.Your ResponsibilitiesAttend to field service work.Provide technical assistance and field service to customers by performing one or more of the following things.Engineering assistance application, programming specifications, etc.Field service installation start-up integration, system optimization, maintenance, and warranty implementation.Troubleshoot hardware and software problems at customer siteProvide customer coordination of RA products and systems by performing the following function.On-site analysis and specification preparation.Hardware configuration system and product application.Programming assistance.Project coordination between customer, OEM sales, product division, etcTechnical support field start-up, integration and maintenance.DocumentationThe Essentials - You Will HaveUniversity Degree in Engineering (Bachelors of Engineering or equivalent) or Trade qualification with additional tertiary education.5+ years engineering and field experienceDeliver technical presentations to internal and external customersDevelop relationships with main customers and partnersDemonstrates consultative and constructive dialogues with customers & team membersBackground in Automation is a plusUnderstanding of Variable speed drives, PLC Systems & Networking would be highly advantageous.The Preferred - You Might Also HaveExperience as Control Specialist/Power SpecialistExperience partnering with sales team and customersActive listening & collaborationMature, enthusiastic, team player, and customer-oriented individualGood presentation and communication skillsResults oriented and able to collaborate effectively with othersWhat We OfferOur benefits package includes Comprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to CalmVolunteer Paid Time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employeesCompany volunteer and donation matching program Your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity can be matched with a charitable donation.Employee Assistance ProgramPersonalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack programOn-demand digital course library for professional developmentand other local benefits!At Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you''re excited about this role but your experience doesn''t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
