Join a dynamic operations team in a critical role where your attention to detail, communication skills, and risk-focused mindset will be highly valued.About The RoleYou will be responsible for coordinating and executing the settlement of Fixed Income DVP and cash trades via Austraclear, managing settlement day functions, and ensuring accurate and timely funding and reconciliation of Fixed Income Currency accounts. This role demands proactive issue resolution, effective communication with internal teams and clients, and strict adherence to risk, compliance, and audit standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and execute Fixed Income DVP and cash trade settlements in AustraclearMonitor Austraclear functions throughout the settlement day, identifying and resolving issues promptlyReconcile and fund Fixed Income Currency accounts accurately and on timeEscalate and follow up on failing or unmatched tradesReconcile and facilitate intercompany settlementsLiaise regularly with traders, confirmation teams, internal stakeholders, and external clientsSource and manage Static Settlement Instructions (SSI) and counterparty/instrument setupsProfessionally resolve trade differences through detailed communication via email and phoneInvestigate and resolve nostro and cash breaks related to unmatched ledgersComplete daily reporting and uphold team controls and proceduresWhat Were Looking ForDemonstrated experience with Austraclear and Fixed Income settlements is essentialStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and OutlookExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environmentA control and risk-focused approach to your workConfidence in escalating issues appropriately to management and trading desksAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamFlexibility to work outside standard hours when requiredAdaptable attitude with eagerness to learn and take on new challengesCommitment to working within audit, compliance, and procedural frameworksIf you have proven Austraclear experience and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, we want to hear from you!Apply now to take the next step in your Fixed Income Settlements career.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
