Using one of the most advanced steel framing systems available, we provide builders and developers with a premium, fully engineered steel framing product range with unrivalled flexibility and accuracy.The Role:Reporting directly to our Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting services with a particular focus on job costing, financial analysis, and operational insights. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to business growth and efficiency improvements.Key Responsibilities:Manage general ledger and subsidiary ledgersMonth-end accounting including reconciliations and journal entriesPerform detailed variance analysis between actual and budgeted results, identifying key cost drivers and operational inefficienciesDeliver comprehensive job costing analysis and margin assessments for fabrication projectsCollaborate with production and operations teams to monitor costs, inventory usage, and work-in-progress valuationsSupport budgeting and forecasting processes across the businessAssist with capital expenditure analysis and investment appraisals for new equipmentMaintain and enhance cost accounting systems tailored to our manufacturing operationsContinuously seek improvements to financial systems, reporting tools, and business processesEnsure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controlsLiaise with external accounting and taxation advisers for statutory reporting requirementsSupport various accounting functions as neededWhat Were Looking For:CPA/CA qualified with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.5+ years management accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and project/job costingAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesOutstanding communication skills with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholdersProven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHighly Regarded:Experience with MYOB Exo Business and MYOB Exo Job CostingUnderstanding of LEAN Manufacturing or continuous improvement principlesWhat We OfferA supportive, innovative workplace with opportunities for professional growth.Opportunity to work with a collaborative team in a growing manufacturing businessDirect involvement in strategic financial decision-makingLike to know more?If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply using the link attached.
