Our team is passionate about leveraging our deep supplier relationships to drive material positive impact.About the roleAs the Lead Sustainable Sourcing Manager Seafood youll work closely with and report into the Group Responsible Sourcing Manager to help deliver our Own Brand Responsible Sourcing strategy, leading the execution of the responsibly sourced seafood strategy for Coles Own Brand.Additionally, youll develop a vision for sustainable seafood systems of the future at Coles with a key focus on building resilient supply chains.You will:Lead sustainable sourcing strategies and governance to enhance sustainability credentials and stakeholder trustLead and oversee seafood product portfolios as business strategic lead on seafood sustainabilityDevelop and manage strategic research, policy and governance programs in collaboration with internal stakeholders, key suppliers, NGOs and GovernmentLead the seafood governance program and supporting IT platforms, driving supplier integration, sustainability performance, and go-to-market strategies that commercialise our sustainability ambitionsCommunicate the Coles Own Brand responsibly sourced seafood programme and initiatives to Government, NGOs and advocacy groupsOversee the strategic direction of internal Coles working groups and provide advice to key senior internal stakeholdersAbout you and your skillsThe ideal candidate holds 5-10 years sustainability industry experience and is skilled at building strong supplier partnerships and driving governance programs that ensure responsible, transparent sourcing.
