Were looking for a Senior Manager People and Culture to lead our People and Culture team on a full-time ongoing basis.Located at our Port Melbourne Head Office and reporting into the General Manager Shared Services, this position will oversee the leadership and operational delivery of People & Culture function, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, workforce capability, and organisational culture. Additionally, you will:Lead and develop the P&C team to deliver consistent, high-quality support across the employee lifecycleReview and refine P&C, OHS and L&D frameworks to ensure compliance and best practiceDrive workforce planning, remuneration reviews, and position management in collaboration with FinanceProvide advice and counsel to Executive and Management teams, including reporting on trends, strategies and initiativesImplement proactive people-centred frameworks that supports flexibility, equity, and workforce need, ensure high-volume, seasonal recruitment cycles are implementedOversee the annual performance review process, ensuring clear expectations, development plans, and timely feedbackWho are you?You are a seasoned people leader with a passion for building positive workplace culture and driving workforce and organisational capability. With a strong background in human resources, health and wellbeing, you bring a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset to everything you do. You are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and thrive in dynamic environments where you can lead change and influence outcomes.Your ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, along with your approachable and empowering leadership style, will be key to your success in this role. Additionally, you will have:Extensive senior HR leadership experience across all areas of the employee lifecycleSkilled in employee relations, including handling complaints and grievances with fairness and collaboration.Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver people-focused initiativesDemonstrated success in developing and implementing P&C, OHS, L&D strategies in complex environmentsStrong understanding of compliance and reporting requirements, including gender and diversity frameworksExperience managing organisational change and fostering a culture of continuous improvementConfident using data and reporting tools to inform decisions and track workforce metricsPrevious experience in a volunteer-based and/or member-based organisation is highly regardedAt Life Saving Victoria, we offer a supportive and inclusive environment where your work can make a real impact on communities.
