Working as an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant is a rewarding opportunity to support highly motivated Defence members throughout their rehabilitation journey. Assist in getting their Defence careers back on track or transitioning into civilian life. Responsibilities include: Conducting workplace assessments on tanks, artillery guns, and other Army vehicles. Exploring field environments to observe Defence personnel training recruits and practicing for combat situations. Building relationships with health centre staff and workplace supervisors at Puckapunyal to serve as a valued resource and subject matter expert in Occupational Rehabilitation for the ADF. Adopting a holistic care approach, working within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing. Utilising clinical reasoning skills and expertise to support individuals suffering from a diverse range of injuries, illnesses, or trauma. Developing, implementing, and monitoring rehabilitation plans with onsite access to medical and treatment providers (Doctors, Physios, Psychologists, etc.). Location & Hours: Based at Puckapunyal, one of Australia''s most renowned Army Bases, colloquially known as "Pucka". Enjoy early starts and finishes with set hours from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The Puckapunyal Health Centre is 10 minutes from Seymour and accessible via the Hume Hwy from Melbourne. Relocation assistance may be available for non-local candidates. Qualifications & Requirements: Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA). Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work, or Nursing. Strong clinical reasoning skills. Ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals. Passion for helping people rehabilitate. Australian Citizenship.
