This passion for holistic rehabilitation has become our philosophy and is championed by our team of highly driven, multidisciplinary allied health professionals.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Psychologist or Rehab Counsellorto join our multidisciplinary team as a Rehab Consultant (RC).As an RC within SIS, you will deliver an engaging, educational and empowering workplace rehabilitation service, playing a significant role during all stages of the workplace rehabilitation process by consulting, developing, reviewing and advising on all facets of the injured workers return to work and rehabilitation programs. Liaising with all relevant parties to ensure Injured Worker rebuilds and restores self-confidence, self-worth and overall wellbeing following an injury.Your day to day will include:Conduct initial assessments and identify return to work barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured worker to return to work.Identifyand designsuitable duties for the worker to assist the employer to meet their obligations in providing suitable employmentMaintainappropriate statistical standards as measured by case management systemUndertake specific services and assessments such as; worksite, vocational, functional, ergonomic, equipment, home and job analysis as required.Forgethe link between the insurer, employer and treatment providers to ensure integration of all injury management activities and a focus on return to workArrangeappropriate retraining and placement in alternative employment when the worker is unable to return to pre-injury dutiesTravelto work sites, appointments or other such areas, as neededMaintainhigh customer service standards and effective relationships with a range of employers, treatment, care and service providersQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will bring:Tertiary Qualifications and registration in your relevant disciplineExperience in occupational rehab or injury management treatment will be viewed favourablyStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective relationship building skillsDemonstrated understanding of negotiation and conflict resolutionExperience within an Insurance or Workers'' Comp/CTP environment with be viewed favourablyCurrent Drivers Licence, own vehicle and Comprehensive car insuranceAbility to obtain a satisfactory Police Clearance and Working with Children checkAdditional InformationHow we support youSIS is a lively and supportive place to work.
