In this role, you will be responsible for profitably maximising online sales growth through the Marketplace, by analysing customer and market trends, and collaborating with Marketplace Sales, Marketplace Operations, Online Trade and Marketing. Embed online and digital first thinking into the business, through enhancing how we work with core stakeholders and driving transparency of strategic trade insight and influence.What Youll Be DoingAs an Online Marketplace Manager working for Kmart you will:Define customer-centric sales and customer growth strategies that are scalable and forward lookingOwn and develop long term Strategic Trade Plan for Marketplace online and manage implementation to deliver best resultsUse customer insights and data to identify key growth opportunities & blockers at a macro levelProvide direction and collaborate with Product, Online Merchandising and Technology to deliver initiativesIdentify and drive opportunity to improve basket economics and profitability of Marketplace categoriesBe responsible for driving the ideation and planning of Marketplace trade initiatives, working closely with Product to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, are scalable and align with the online visionDrive trade thinking, identifying and capitalising on all trade opportunities profitabilityTo be successful in this role youll have:3-5 years comparable experience in retail, preferably digital/ecommerce trade and Marketplace business modelsStrong track record of delivering outstanding customer, commercial and financial resultsGeneral management, ie experience leading teams across multiple domainsExperience developing and executing commercial strategies, especially trade strategy and customer acquisition & retentionProven ability to create a high-performing, customer-centric culturePrior discount retail experience strongly preferred, ideally in an EDLP environmentIn-depth understanding of and ability to lead key subject areas, including trading/merchandising, sales forecasting, performance analysis and merchandise planning and managementBenefits well offer you:Flexible hybrid working options through our Flex Where, Flex When, Flex Well policy.A team member discount card that gives you a discount at Kmart, Target Officeworks and BunningsAccess to the Kmart for You benefits program which entitles you to exclusive discounts and benefits in the areas of entertainment, travel, lifestyle, and health with over 60 suppliers!We want you to feel rewarded for your commitment and hard work that''s why eligible team members get the opportunity to participate in a bonus programWe offer inclusive parental leave, and ongoing support offered though our partnership with Circle In for team members of all backgrounds and family circumstancesA dynamic learning and support programOpportunity to fast track your career through our Mentor Program as a Mentee or MentorA Kudos recognition program, where you are nominated by your peers to spin a wheel, to win a stack of cool prizesGreat career opportunities across the broader Wesfarmers GroupWe celebrate the rich diversity of the communities in which we operate.
