The team culture promotes collaboration, continuous improvement, and a strong commitment to public value and transparency.About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned SAP BODS Principal Data Migration Analyst to lead and execute complex data migration activities within a major SAP transformation program. This role is instrumental in ensuring the seamless transition of data from legacy systems to SAP environments, maintaining data integrity and quality throughout the process. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data migration solutions that align with organisational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement end-to-end data migration strategies using SAP BODS, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various source systems into SAP environments, maintaining data accuracy and consistency.Conduct data profiling and cleansing to identify and rectify data quality issues prior to migration.Develop and manage job scheduling and automation processes to streamline data migration activities.Implement robust error handling and troubleshooting mechanisms to address data discrepancies and system issues.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure successful data mapping and transformation.Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes, including mappings, configurations, and validation reports.Participate in performance tuning and optimisation of BODS jobs to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time.Support post-migration testing and validation to confirm data integrity and completeness in the target system.Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in data migration and SAP technologies.About You Essential:Proven experience in leading SAP data migration projects, with a strong focus on SAP BODS.Demonstrated expertise in ETL processes, data profiling, and data quality management.Strong understanding of SAP data structures and integration points across modules.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues effectively.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Relevant certifications in SAP BODS or data migration methodologies are highly regarded.Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Valid working rights in Australia (holding PR, citizenship or longterm work visa no sponsorship provided)As a mandatory requirement for this contract role required by our client, applicants are kindly asked to complete a compliance check and upload their work rights verification at www.charterdiligence.com.au/portal.
