To assist with the reduction of health inequality by raising awareness, providing education and providing health promotion activities about healthy lifestyles, disease and disability, and other health related issues in Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal populations.Selection CriteriaThis is an identified role and applicants must be of and be able to provide evidence of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent under Section 14 (d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act, 1977 (NSW), with demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal communities.Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or a willingness to obtain OR experience in a relevant health promotion related field.Experience or knowledge of planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programs/projects.Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate and consult with others, respectfully persuade others in relation to key messages and write clearly and succinctly.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Ability to competently use information and communication technology software for a range of purposes, including word processing, emails, document preparation, internet searches and data entry.Current unrestricted drivers'' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires.
