More Driven.Primary Purpose of the Position:As the Channel Strategy & Development Manager for ANZ, you will serve as the key representative of the customer and/or channel, offering an external market perspective to inform the companys overall business planning. You will play a critical role in translating the Category Vision and Brand Strategies into actionable local annual channel programs and key business development (KBD) initiatives, maximizing cluster and developing local initiatives to support the delivery of key business KPIs within the market. You will focus on driving exceptional retail execution, creating superior customer value, and ensuring effective revenue management across channels.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:You will be responsible for implementing local channel growth strategies and plans tailored to specific channels. You will collaborate closely with the cluster channel strategy & development team, cluster sales team (for strategy alignment), and local sales team (for plan execution).You will contribute to defining and implementing essential building blocks to drive business growth in key channels within the local market, enabling sales, increasing market share, and accelerating overall performance.You will lead the development and execution of the local annual channel program plan, aligning it with the cluster channel strategy development team to maximize regional and cluster-led initiatives in the market.You will promote a measurement-oriented approach with clear KPI and ROI metrics, generating insights and learnings for future planning, and collaborating with regional teams for asset development and with the local sales team for in-store execution excellence.You will develop and execute initiatives (in partnership with cluster and local sales teams) that foster strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and trade partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to capitalize on business opportunities.You will support new product launches by ensuring timely distribution, optimal in-store visibility, and robust promotional support, including alignment on distribution plans and key SKU stocking.You will manage local channel development budgets (promotions and POSM production, excluding creation) and allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI, aligning the annual budget with cluster channel strategies.You will promote cross-functional collaboration between local and cluster channel development teams, sales, and media teams to maximize synergies, scaling global, regional, and cluster initiatives within the market, and serve as a local market-back voice.You should have a Bachelors Degree.You should have 10+ years of trade marketing or channel development experience in Consumer Durables, Automotive, or FMCG companies, focusing on local execution and delivery roles.You should have proven results in business delivery and demand generation.You should be a strategic leader with experience executing across consumer and trade touchpoints.You should be a leader in marketing innovation, digital, e-commerce, in-store, and trade channel strategy.Goodyear is one of the worlds largest tyre companies, employing about 68,000 people, with products manufactured in 53 facilities across 20 countries.
