If this describes you, we would love to invite you to join us!Location: Castle HillEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout The RoleAnglicare is seeking a skilled and proactive Village Facilities Manager to oversee the operational performance and presentation of our village. In this vital leadership role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of facilities and asset performance, including property maintenance, contractor coordination, compliance, and the delivery of exceptional resident service standards.Reporting to the Village Manager - Operations, you will lead the maintenance team and cleaning services, and ensure the village maintains high standards of safety, functionality, and comfort for our residents.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilities and Asset ManagementDevelop and implement an asset and life cycle management planEstablish preventative maintenance programs and ensure all compliance checks are completedMonitor reactive maintenance activity and manage related budgetsMaintain high standards across building and common areasWork well with the grounds and garden site leadProject and Operational LeadershipLead facilities-related improvement projects with minimal disruption to residentsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver service and system enhancementsIdentify procurement opportunities for operational efficienciesTeam and Contractor OversightSupervise the internal maintenance team and oversee performance of contractor cleaning teamsRecruit, onboard, and support team members with coaching and ongoing developmentEnsure compliance with workplace health and safety, uniform, and conduct standardsStakeholder and Supplier ManagementMaintain supplier contracts and manage performance against KPIsFacilitate ongoing communication with internal departments and external service providersBuild and maintain trusted relationships with residents, staff, and contractorsWhat Were Looking ForStrong leadership and team management experienceDemonstrated success in managing large facilities within multi-service environmentsExperience with asset planning, preventative maintenance, and contractor oversightFinancial acumen and experience managing budgetsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsTertiary qualifications in facilities/project management, building services, or business preferredUnderstanding of compliance frameworks, WHS, and property systems (archibus a bonus)Why Join AnglicareSupportive and experienced leadership teamFocus on ongoing training and career developmentNot-for-profit salary packaging benefits to maximise your take-home payAccess to our Employee Assistance Program and wellbeing initiativesFitness Passport and rewards program with discounts from 400+ retailersAnglicare Jesus Christ honoured, lives enriched, and communities strengthened.We welcome applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
