Business Development Manager - NSW will be responsible for generating the companys revenue and developing and implementing sales strategies; monitoring and analyzing sales activities against goals. The role also involves servicing and retaining existing customers, targeting new business opportunities, and developing eCommerce and Global Mail Solutions.Accountabilities:CustomersManage and grow a portfolio of customers and potential customers via personal sales visits, providing a personal service.Lead and manage customer presentations and proposals, quarterly reviews, ensuring a shared understanding of service expectations and solutions.Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.Ensure consultative selling, becoming a trusted advisor to customers and prospects.Continuously develop knowledge of DHL eCommerce products/services and commercial awareness to offer the best solutions.Build strong client relationships to maximize account potential, reduce attrition, and minimize competitor opportunities.Support and collaborate with the Sales Team to achieve targets and objectives, providing necessary tools and support.Act as the primary DHL eCommerce contact point for customers, liaising with relevant departments to resolve queries and issues.Establish and implement short- and long-term goals with the team.Participate in regular sales meetings, 1-on-1s, and Town Halls.DHL NetworkWork closely to secure country, regional, and global contracts from targeted customers locally.Country OfficeEnsure customer issues related to service, recovery, and credit control are managed properly through relevant functions.Meet with management regularly to evaluate sales strategies to meet revenue and shipment targets.Develop relationships with support departments to keep them updated on customer issues, with non-sales activities handled by Customer Service/Sales Support.Operations TeamCoordinate to ensure quality services and customer satisfaction.All Relevant DepartmentsCoordinate to ensure smooth operations and target achievement.Skills / QualificationsAbility to manage relationships and negotiate at all management levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.High caliber in sales with motivation, drive, resilience, and proactive attitude.Extended network knowledge.Excellent spoken and written communication skills.Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably with major account handling experience in the service industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
