Create your best future and join Westpac as an Enterprise Reference Data Management (ERDM) Data AnalystWhats the role?TheData Analyst, Enterprise Reference Data Management (ERDM)plays a key role within the ERDM team, part of the broader Information Management and Data Platforms Operations (IMDO) function. This team is responsible for delivering a centrally governed enterprise reference data capability and managing the foundational data product (FDP) that supports consistent and reliable data use across the organisation.In this role, you will contribute to the end-to-end delivery of enterprise reference data, working within the ERDM Business Support team. Youll help promote and advocate for the adoption of ERDM capabilities and the associated data product, ensuring they are effectively integrated and utilised across business units. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders and support the organisations commitment to high-quality, well-governed data.What do I need?Extensive experience in data management, including the development, execution, and oversight of plans, policies, programs, and practices that support the full lifecycle of data and information assets.Solid background in data governance, with a focus on planning, monitoring, and enforcing the effective management of data assets.Proven capability in information management, data analysis and design, as well as working with tools that support data lineage, databases, hierarchies, and mappings.Strong understanding of core data management principles and capabilities, including reference data, master data, data quality, and metadata management.Demonstrated experience in developing and evolving operating models and processes to support scalable and sustainable data practices.Strong understanding of business impact due to data riskWere obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life and were looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
