Our client, a prominent brand in the Australian market, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with an excellent management team and oversee the collection of payments owed by customers and clients, ensuring that the company''s revenue is accurately recorded and received on time. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks including invoice creation and management, payment collection, account reconciliation, customer communication, reporting and documentation, audit support, and compliance and process improvement. What you''ll do: As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring the monthly billing process is completed accurately and within designated timeframes. Monitoring and tracking customer payments to ensure timely receipt. Reconciling accounts receivable transactions to ensure the accuracy of customer balances. Acting as the point of contact for customer inquiries related to their accounts, invoices, and payments. Preparing and maintaining reports on accounts receivable aging, outstanding payments, and collections status. Assisting auditors by providing necessary documentation. Ensuring compliance with internal company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
