Your daily work includes management and technical tasks and you solve issues which arise and look active for improvements in your projects and daily working environment.How Youll Make An ImpactLeading the project team and ensures coordination with key stakeholders such as the client, partners, manufacturers, supplies and contractorsAccountable for the delivery of the assigned tasks and deliverables of the project on schedule, within budget and at the required level of quality and EHSEnsure risks are proactively identified, assessed and managed to avoid negative impacts on the projectManage scope changes in a systematic and controlled manner, assess their impact on project scope, schedule, budget and risks and take appropriate measuresEnsures a good working relationship between the project team, line managers, and interfacing organizationsGuide PM colleagues who have less experienceSafeguard implementation of the acceptance (tests) and final project handoverSetting-up a proper project planning with clear focus on critical time constraints, control the schedule on a regular basis by consulting all relevant project membersHolds regular project status meetings and organizes acceptance of milestone work resultsIs responsible for quality, EHS for the entire projectManages customer expectations and solving of issues; identifies / creates additional opportunities out of the ongoing projectsDemonstrates leadership interculturally, sets stretching goals and achieves beyondFosters ownership culture within the project teamWhat You BringMasters degree in Electrical Engineering or similar educationSeveral years of professional experience in EPC project management (> 5 years) and leading a project teamExperience within the electric power industry and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery servicesProven ability to work on complex technical projects as well as leading multidisciplinary and culturally varied teams in international projects as a project managerStrong problem solving and analytical skills as well as leadership skillsProven ability to communicate complex technical or commercial issues to peers, clients and senior managers as well as to negotiate and resolve conflictsAbility to lead technical discussions and negotiations with customer, suppliers and contractorsPM@Siemens or IPMA CertificationWorking rights for Australia or unlimited Permanent Residency, Driving License in AustraliaTravel internationally as required, work on customer sites during Onsite phase of the projects for Installation and Commissioning Activities coordination and supervisionAbout The TeamOur team is responsible for world class execution and the successful delivery of complex projects across all Business Areas within Siemens Energy.
