We have deep expertise in security advisory (GRC) and consulting, technical assurance and testing, cloud services, 24x7 managed services and monitoring, incident response and forensics and converged/physical security.As a Security Engineer - Automation, you will be a core part of our Security Operations Centre (SOC) team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and configuring our Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platform which will assist client environments to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents. As a Security Automation Engineer, you will assist various internal SOC teams with deploying and configuration of our SOAR platform into client environments, furthermore you will be required to develop custom workbooks to complete client internal requirements.YOUR ROLEWorking from either our Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane offices, your role will include:Configuration and management of internal Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platformEnsure that code repositories are well-organized, efficient and documentedImplement and enforce coding standards and best practices to maintain code qualityManage triage, response, and escalations of client automation and response requestsAssist with the maintenance of Tesserent SOC deployed technologies within client environmentsWork collaboratively with other members of the SOC team to continually improve our security monitoring and response capabilitiesCreate, follow, and maintain internal SOC documentationContinually update skills and knowledge relative to the ever-changing threat landscapeYOUR EXPERIENCETo be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or BashProficiency to develop and maintain automation scripts and toolsExperiencein CI/CD tools and practices.Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms (FortiSOAR, Sentinel, Google Chronicledesired)Knowledge of SIEM, EDR and other Security platformsSupportand troubleshootLinux servers,Maintain knowledge of industry insights and proactively research emerging security risks, controls, best practices, and trends.WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLYAfter you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
