Our Sales Strategy and Programs team partners closely with Sales leadership as a trusted advisor to drive strategic planning, sales optimisation, and operational excellence. Were looking for a high-energy, driven individual whos passionate about helping sales teams succeed.This is a high-impact role, with constantly evolving priorities and demands. Youll think strategically, develop focused execution plans, and lead them to fruitionranging from high-level go-to-market strategy to tactical sales programs that directly influence pipeline generation and business performance.This role provides a unique opportunity to be entrepreneurial within an established organisation, blending creativity and business acumen to design, implement, and scale sales programs that deliver measurable impact. Youll collaborate cross-functionally with teams including finance, marketing, employee success, operations, data science, and product marketing, building strong relationships and ensuring sales leaders are set up for success.What Youll Be DoingOrchestrate the design and implementation of comprehensive Go-To-Market plans during annual sales strategy planning, including account segmentation, territory assignments, resource allocation, compensation, and quota setting.Partner directly with Account Executives and Sales leaders to identify pipeline generation needs, develop tailored sales programs, and track resultsadapting programs based on data-driven insights and lessons learned.Define key performance metrics, build reports and dashboards, and provide insights into the health of the business, identifying areas of weakness and presenting recommendations to leadership.Drive forecast management excellence to ensure predictable growth across business units, coordinate forecast calls, and manage pipeline health reviews.Create executive-level presentations and support leadership reviews and quarterly business reviews.Troubleshoot operational issues and propose changes to systems and processes to address root causes.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on sales strategy and ensure programs are effectively executed.Who You AreStrong experience in sales strategy, sales operations, or sales programs, ideally with a background in consulting, sales, or business operations.Youre entrepreneurial and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. You take initiative and bring structure and clarity to fluid situations.Youre a relationship builder who seamlessly partners with sales leaders and cross-functional teams.Youre analytical and data-driven, experienced in monitoring pipeline metrics, conducting ad-hoc analyses (e.g., customer segmentation, sales participation, white space), and drawing actionable insights from data.Youre organised, balancing thoroughness and efficiency even under high-volume demands.Youre an excellent communicator with polished written and oral communication skills, able to translate complex information into easily consumable insights for sales leaders and executivesExperience with Salesforce reporting and dashboarding is preferred; familiarity with analytical tools like R, Python, SQL, or Tableau is a plus.Minimum RequirementsBachelor''s degree or equivalent experienceProven experience with quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and business planning.Strong presentation skills and executive presence.Preferred SkillsA go-getter attitude, with a track record of taking initiative and delivering results.Experience developing and executing structured sales programs.Comfort working with ambiguity and managing competing priorities.Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with sales leaders and influence key stakeholders.At Salesforce we encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
