Join to apply for the Data Analyst role at NSW HealthContinue with Google Continue with GoogleJoin to apply for the Data Analyst role at NSW HealthEmployment Type:TemporaryFull Time (up to June 2026)Position Classification:Health Manager Level 3Remuneration:$127,150- $144,444 plus Superannuation of 12.0%Location: 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards NSW, in a hybrid working environmentHours Per Week:38Requisition ID: REQ583040Closing Date: Sunday 13 July 2025 (11:59PM)Join our System Performance Support Branch at Ministry of Health for an exciting temporary employment opportunity up to June 2026 and be part of the team enriching health in millions of ways every day.About UsWe offer robust development and growth support to all our employees, ensuring you have the resources and opportunities to thrive in your career.Explore boundless potential in a dynamic environment.Join a passionate team dedicated to innovation and creativity.About The RoleWith your skills and experience, you can contribute to the millions of ways were enhancing health and wellness while developing your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.The Quality Assurance and Data Analyst is responsible for developing reports, analysing and carrying out quality assurance activities to ensure enterprise solutions for NSW Health are ready for Production deployment for the State Operational Data Store (ODS) Program Team within the Ministry of Health.The Health Manager level 3, starting salary from $127,150 - $144,444 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 38-hour work week.What you will doDevelop and implement Power BI solutions, develop reports, validate backend application logic, and identify clinical, financial, and/or operational insights to support data-driven decision-making.Develop and execute detailed data and functional test cases and/or artifacts by analysing requirements, use cases and functional specifications (including but not limited to integration, functional, data pipeline, basic backend, performance, and device test).Engage relevant stakeholders and address / escalate risks to ensure test strategy is executed within budget and timeframe.Document issues, defects and inconsistencies in a ticketing system and ensure they are appropriately resolved in a timely manner.Support in the development, maintenance, compliance, and monitor quality assurance governance and framework.About YouWe are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health to:Validate and test developed solutions both in the context of detailed data analysis, dashboard validation and functional testing to ensure the in-scope application, dashboard and/or report are ready for Production deployment and handover to eHealth and LHDs.Develop PowerBI dashboard and reports built using various data sources utilized within NSW Health. This includes the interpretation of result output using statistical techniques.Perform quality assurance and data cleansing related activities which include but not limited to application functionality testing, integration testing, data quality monitoring and rectification, backend logic validation, data integration validation.Perform functional, integration and backend test based on developed solutions to ensure the in-scope applications are ready for Production deployment and handover to eHealth and the LHDs.
