Our client, a well-established player in the utilities sector, is looking for a Test Lead to join their growing technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead testing efforts and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, compliant, and complex programs of work within a regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and execution of test strategies, plans, and manual test cases for complex systemsOversee test coverage across functional, integration, regression, and compliance testingGuide and mentor a team of testers, ensuring best practices and quality standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to manage defect identification and resolutionCoordinate testing activities on systems critical to metering and market complianceManage test data, environments, and timelines efficientlyProvide regular reporting on test progress, risks, and quality metrics to support go/no-go decisionsIdeal Candidate will have experience in some or all of the following tools and platforms:Strong background in leading testing initiatives within the utilities or energy sectorExpertise in manual testing, with some automation knowledge beneficialExperience with tools such as SAP-ISU, ITRON, HP ALM / HPLMFamiliarity with platforms including WebMethods, UIQ, and MTS (Market Transaction Suite)General experience in metering system testingA solid understanding of utilities market compliance and regulatory requirementsReady to step into a leadership role in a dynamic and vital sector?
