To learn more, visit us at architectus.com.au.About the RoleWere in search of a driven and curious Business Intelligence Developer who thrives at the intersection of data, design, and development. You will connect with all parts of the business, including Client + Communications, Finance, and Operations, to ensure we are aligned with our strategic direction to drive long-term profitability.In this hybrid role, youll begin by owning the design and development of impactful Power BI dashboards, working closely with multiple stakeholders to transform complex data into meaningful insights. But this is more than just reporting its a growth pathway. Youll also have the interest and opportunity to expand into broader technical development, including React, Node.js, and internal desktop tools (C#), supporting internal systems and shaping how we use data across the business.This role is ideal for someone eager to move beyond reporting and grow into a broader development path.Key Responsibilities:Design and build insightful Power BI dashboards that enable teams to monitor performance, track strategic progress, and make data-driven decisions.This is a hands-on technical role in full data and BI report development from design to analysis through to quality assurance.Transform and model data using Power Query, DAX, and SQL to support visualizations, forecasting, and operational analysis.Collaborate with teams to understand reporting needs and deliver clear, actionable visualizations.Drive automation of data processes, including AI-powered enhancements, to increase reporting efficiency and accuracy.Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing BI solutions to enhance functionality and incorporate new data sources or analytics capabilitiesDesign and develop internal applications using modern web technologies (React, Node.js) and extend internal desktop tools using C#.Bring a thoughtful design mindset to both visualizations and UIs.Proactively suggest improvements, automation opportunities, and better ways to present or manage data.About YouWe look forward to welcoming someone with prior experience in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, visualisation) in addition to:Willingness to learn and contribute to C#-based desktop tooling.Interest in design, usability, and how data is communicatednot just code.Not expected to be an expert in everythingjust open-minded, resourceful, and willing to learn.Exposure to SQL, APIs, or basic data modelling. (preferred but not required)Familiarity with Azure or cloud tools. (preferred but not required)Version control basics (Git).
