We are hiring for a Tournament Spaces Delivery Lead to join our Infrastructure team and take the lead on delivering the spaces that bring the Australian Open 2026 to life. This is a full-time fixed-term contract from July 2025 to the end of February 2026.As this is a seasonal event role, we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, December February. From furniture and finishes to services and signage, youll work alongside our Manager Tournament Spaces Delivery to bring the plans to life by managing every detail of the temporary infrastructure and fit-out.This is a hands-on role where youll collaborate with a broad mix of internal teams and external suppliers to make sure every space not only looks great but functions flawlessly, all while keeping timelines tight and budgets in check. In this role you will be responsible for:Bringing tournament spaces to life, transforming raw areas into fully functional zones for players, workforce, and operationsLeading end-to-end delivery of temporary fit-outs and services across the precinct, from concept to completionTurning design intent into reality by collaborating with suppliers, designers, and contractors to deliver creative and compliant overlay solutionsManaging logistics, budgets, and timelines to ensure every space is delivered on time, on brief, and on budgetDriving improvements by feeding event-time learnings into future planning, helping us raise the bar year after yearAbout youTo be successful in this role you will have:Experience delivering fit-out or temporary infrastructure for major events, venues, or large-scale activationsA practical understanding of what makes a space work from furniture, materials to power, signage and the finishing touchesConfidence interpreting overlay plans and design drawings and turning them into well-executed spacesStrong people skills, able to coordinate suppliers, manage contractors, and build trust with a wide range of stakeholdersHighly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing timelines, budgets, and project reportingWhats to love?Career development with a range of formal education and on the job training opportunitiesTickets to the Australian OpenMonthly health & wellbeing activities with access to CorePlus PilatesOnsite gym, tennis facilities & free onsite car parkingA range of discounts from our sponsorship partnersTo ApplyIf you think youre up to the challenge, wed love to hear from you!
