Fortescue is leading the world with our plan to decarbonise our iron ore operations, projects that harness renewable energy and the development of technology that will change our planet forever.Our OpportunityWork Location: PerthRoster: Monday to FridayFortescue are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Manager to lead the commercial relationship with our largest mining customers in Australia.This role is critical to managing our end-to-end engagement across fleet management systems, autonomous haulage, battery-electric solutions, aftermarket services, and warranty programs.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary commercial contact for major mining customersBuild and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders at executive and operational levelsLead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contractual terms, aftermarket services, and warranty agreementsCoordinate cross-functionally across engineering, product, operations, and service teamsDeliver and articulate the value proposition of complex technologies (e.g., AHS, battery systems, digital platforms)Proactively manage customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and performance reviewsIdentify and drive growth opportunities within assigned accountsProvide market intelligence and customer insight to support business development and product strategy.Qualifications And ExperienceMinimum 10 years'' experience in senior commercial or account management roles within the mining or heavy equipment sectorsProven record managing large strategic accounts and delivering revenue growthDeep understanding of mining equipment, operations, and support systemsStrong technical acumen, particularly in areas such as autonomy, battery-electric systems, and connected fleet technologiesExceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skillsPrevious experience with major OEMs (e.g., Cummins, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Epiroc, Hitachi) is highly desirableWillingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.Our CommitmentFortescue celebrates individual strengths and team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
