Proficiency in using data will help you to develop trending models and other approaches to improve forecasting accuracy.Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships will be your platform to enable the delivery of outcomes. Effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy with Treasury teams and agency counterparts is key.You will be joining our Banking and Financial Services Division (BFSD) within the Procurement Reform and Banking Group. Read more about your future Group and Division.You can read more about the role in the role description here.What you can bring to the role.In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:Experience in budgeting, business performance, forecasting or analysis with a commercial or analytical perspective.Ability to influence the States strategy, define and maintain the liquidity management policy framework and operate the cash forecasting function through leadership of a small team.A desire to make a difference through reform, uplifting cash and liquidity performance analysis, growing stakeholder engagement, and establishing robust policy and governance structures and lead the change implementation.Willingness to improve liquidity management processes and systems in a multi-bank environment, ensuring data utilisation, compliance, and alignment with agency group requirements, Treasury goals, and State funding outcomes.Leadership of internal and external working and governance forums to identify and monitor significant budget or liquidity risks and opportunities, collaboratively developing mitigation strategies and pathways.Support the Director of Cash and Operations and BFSD colleagues, contributing to the broader goals of the Division, Group, and Treasury.What can you expect from usThe team you will join is made up of a diverse and welcoming group of people.
