This position reports to the Manager Security & Patient Services.The Senior Security Officer has a strong emphasis on team engagement in addition to standard security staff duties. The role requires a positive engagement with management team, clinical teams, consumers and their families/carers in the provision of security services for the protection of staff and consumers at Fairfield Hospital and the broader campus including Corella Lodge and Hammondville Braeside Hospital.NOTE: Senior Security Officers, like other NSW Health staff, must contact the police if there is suspected criminal activity on or around a NSW Health premises. Senior Security Officers must not place themselves, or be expected by others to place themselves, at unnecessary risk in carrying out their duties.
