Central to this ambition is the way we use data, analytics and insights to make better, more informed strategic customer, team and business decisions and deliver automation and artificial intelligence capabilities to accelerate progress towards our ambition.You will support the translation of business use cases to data-driven opportunities, and lead the development and delivery of analytics projects in one of our Data & Analytics squads.Some key responsibilities will include:Drawing on your communication, business acumen and stakeholder engagement skills, facilitate the translation of use cases to analytical activities, and analytical activities to business valueProvide technical thought leadership in applying descriptive analytics, statistical inference, experimentation and measurement to solve real problems and deliver tangible business valueLeveraging your expertise in SQL and deep domain business knowledge, ensure the technical accuracy and contextual relevance of your teams deliverablesSupport Data Engineers and Data Scientists with business context in the delivery of projects & features through your agile squadDevelop business dashboards using the latest visualization tools and techniquesEvangelise the use of Data, Analytics & Insights capabilities, and coach cross-functional teams to understand where and when different techniques can create valueWhat youll bringTo be successful in this role and thrive in our high performing and innovative culture, you will have a good understanding of how data & analytics can unlock the potential of the business and help realise BIG Ws ambition of becoming a purpose led digital retailer.We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst with highly developed stakeholder management skills, collaborative problem solving mindset underpinned by technical proficiency in data manipulation and visualisation.In addition, you will bring:Ability to collaboratively partner with business stakeholders to deliver technical reporting solutions that effectively address business needsStrong attention to detailAdvanced SQL skills to segment and extract insights from large datasetsExperience with visualisation tools like Tableau and Looker Data Studio is highly desirable3-4 years of experience in Analytics, any experience with Retail, FMCG, Operations or Logistics would be highly regarded but not essentialDeep understanding and passion for data, analytics and insights and how it can unlock real customer, team and business challengesWhat youll experienceAn attractive remuneration package including base, super and bonus.Opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest and best minds in Australia both across BIG W and Woolworths.Tech options - Woolworths is the largest employer of Google Apps in Australia, are early adopters of Agile and have BYOD options too.An exciting career - as our business grows, so do the opportunities for our people.Flexibility and work-life balance policies that will help you thrive.Everyone belongs at Woolworths GroupDiversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
