You will be the primary driver in turning complex design visions into realities, overseeing every phase from initial concepts through to project completion. Collaborating directly with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and internal teams, youll play a pivotal role in delivering designs that are both commercially viable and technically superior, ultimately shaping landmark industrial spaces in NSW.This role offers the unique satisfaction of seeing your designs executed efficiently, smoothly, and successfully, leaving your professional stamp on some of the industrys most prominent developments.What You''ll DoStrategically oversee project designs from pre-construction through completion, aligning with key design milestones.Collaborate closely during early contractor involvement (ECI) and tender processes to develop innovative and commercially effective design strategies.Lead and coordinate consultant teams, delivering cohesive, high-quality documentation and design briefs.Critically review and optimise structural, civil and services designs for efficiency, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.Develop and manage detailed pre-construction design programs, ensuring compliance with safety, budgetary, regulatory, and client requirements.Champion Safety in Design, proactively conducting risk assessments and implementing comprehensive mitigation strategies.Mentor and develop junior design team members, fostering an environment of continuous growth and professional advancement.What You BringTertiary qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience managing the design lifecycle of complex industrial or commercial construction projects.We would consider an experienced, process-driven Design Coordinator who is ready to take the step as a Design Manager.Strong technical expertise with a proven ability to review, critique, and optimise civil and structural design solutions.Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships with diverse internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.High-level problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying, mitigating, and managing design and construction risks.Excellent communication skills, clear decision-making capabilities, and a collaborative approach to achieving project outcomes.Why Choose TexcoJoining Texco means becoming part of a vibrant team with big ambitions.
