Were looking for an Application Implementation Consultant to join our team and help us make things happen!Hexagons Safety, Infrastructure and Geospatial (SIG) division provides mission-critical and business-critical solutions to governments and service providers for smarter and safer communities, better public services, more reliable infrastructure, and improved resilience of vital services through patented leading location intelligence technology.Hexagons Implementation team is responsible for providing technical subject-matter-expertise to enable design and delivery of Hexagons solutions to meet customer expectations and acceptance. In this role, you will work on geographically dispersed technical projects in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.About the Role:Your primary role is to define, design, configure and implement Hexagons applications to meet customer acceptance. You will achieve this by utilising approved implementation and configuration methodologies along with critical thinking skills, the ability to maintain customer relationships on- site and by leveraging your experience engaging with customers to achieve an effective and desirable position for both parties.Your secondary role is to provide Level 3 application support for designated customers and software applications.Main responsibilitiesDevelop and execute Quality, System Build, Testing, and Transition plans to meet contractual commitments for time, quality, and cost.Act as a Product Specialist, supporting customers and sales teams.Define, gather, and translate business and technical requirements for configuration and implementation.Configure and implement applications to a high standard.Manage software configuration planning and proactively address risks, assumptions, and dependencies.Support pre-sales activities, including quotations and tender responses (EOIs, RFTs, RFQs).Contribute to release and configuration management processes.Write technical documentation and maintain expertise in Hexagon''s product portfolio.Required Attributes:Self-motivated, autonomous, and passionate about technology.Confident in customer-facing roles (remote and in-person).Positive, people-oriented, and collaborative team player.Outcome-focused, performance-driven, and operates with urgency.Ethical, quality-conscious, and accountable.Strong problem-solving skills and proactive in addressing challenges.Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support team success beyond defined roles.Timely in submitting project updates and work progress.Must pass National Police Record checks.Domestic and international travel may be required.Availability for 24/7 on-call support on a case-by-case basis.Working knowledge of C#, ASP, .Net, WPF UI modification (preferred but not essential).Familiarity with I/CAD and InService operational workflows (nice to have).Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering or equivalent.SQL Server, Oracle, or similar database certifications (highly regarded).Proven experience in software delivery life cycle projects.Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Proficiency in relational databases, SQL, and tools like SQL Server Mirroring, Always-On, and Oracle Data Guard.Competent in SQL, XML, scripting, Windows (desktop/server), Citrix, IIS, Cloud, and IP networks.Experience with VSTS, TFS, SVN, GIT, Visual Studio, and related tools.Hexagon is dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued.
