No matter what corporate or support role you play in delivering our critical services to Victorians, you will join a team dedicated to bringing our vision to be a world leading ambulance service to life.We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to provide senior level expertise to support design, project implementation, operational support, service requests, incident management and cyber security controls & protection measures.This is a Full Time, Fixed Term (until 30 November 2027) position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Blackburn North office in line with our hybrid working model.About The RoleReporting to the Senior Program Manager Cloud & IT Infrastructure, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:Engage with stakeholders and assist with cloud migration related analysisProduce application landing zone designs, provision cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, create migration runbooks and rollback plans, execute migrations and support with hypercareEnable migrated application workload transition to operationsSupports Program/Project Managers to implement, upgrade and maintain cloud computing platforms in line with the Cloud Computing strategyChampion the Cloud and IT infrastructure initiatives and technologies with stakeholders and peersAbout YouTo be considered for this position you will possess:A postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification with extensive relevant experienceSenior technical experience in mass migrations of application workloads from on-premises to Azure cloudExperience in migrating application workloads between private clouds on VMware stack highly regardedExtensive experience with Microsoft Applications, Microsoft Azure, cloud design, cloud networking, Azure DevOps, Azure Repos/GIT, Azure Pipelines, CI/CD, ARM Templates, BiCep filesExperience in implementing, maintaining and managing a mature Enterprise Cloud and IT infrastructureDeep understanding and working knowledge addressing security controls and audit issues in the CloudSignificant experience in an Enterprise or Emergency Services and/or Health Services organisationPlease refer to the position description for a full list of position responsibilities and selection criteria.Working at Ambulance VictoriaAs a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
