Workday Functional and Integrations LeadSydney, Australia | Posted on 27/04/2025In this role, you will be responsible for strategizing and delivering end-to-end Workday solutions for our enterprise clients, supporting and advising business development as a Workday Lead, and leading a Workday DevOps team of high-performing individuals.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Functional and Integrations Lead to oversee and manage both the functional configuration and technical integrations of our Workday platform. This role serves as a key liaison between HR, IT, and business stakeholders, ensuring Workday supports organizational goals and processes effectively and efficiently.Responsibilities include:Leading the configuration and optimization of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, etc.).Acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday functionality and business processes.Translating business requirements into functional specifications and Workday configurations.Overseeing and coordinating testing efforts including unit testing, regression testing, and UAT.Monitoring Workday updates/releases and assessing impacts on current setup.Integrations Responsibilities:Designing integrations between Workday and external systems (e.g., payroll providers, benefits vendors, internal databases).Leading the development and support of Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (WWS).Ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance in all Workday integrations.Collaborating with third-party vendors and internal teams for integration support and enhancements.Managing a team of analysts and/or developers, if applicable.Partnering with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth operations.Providing mentorship and guidance to junior Workday team members.RequirementsWho you are:Bachelor''s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.8-10 years of experience in IT implementation and delivery projects.58+ years of experience with Workday, including both functional configuration and integrations.Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.Why join usEveryone who joins our team is treated as a trusted member of the team, not a number.
