This role is encouraged to be on a hybrid setup so we''ve created an environment that truly empowers you to thrive.What youd be doing in this roleIn this role, youll be the technical backbone of Canvas internal AI platforms proactively leading system architecture, integration, and innovation across tools like ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Gemini and Glean. Youll partner deeply with business stakeholders to turn complex challenges into AI-driven solutions that unlock real impact. From mentoring teammates to owning custom builds, youll be the go-to expert helping us deliver scalable, secure, and meaningful AI experiences to every Canvanaut, at the right time, in the right way.At the moment, this role is focused on:Leading the design, build and implementation of automation and AI-driven solutions to solve meaningful business challengesOwning the system architecture and administration of Canvas internal AI platforms, including advanced configuration and integrationsTroubleshooting complex issues and managing vendor relationships to ensure a seamless user experienceServing as a subject matter expert for one or more AI platforms, driving internal enablement and knowledge sharingIdentifying performance and infrastructure improvements to ensure reliability and scalabilityPartnering with business analysts, legal, security and privacy teams to drive compliant, user-centred AI adoptionContributing to team capability through mentoring, documentation and sprint processesStaying ahead of the curve on AI developments, evaluating new features and industry trends to inform roadmap planningYoure probably a match if:Youve delivered impactful AI or automation solutions that reduce manual effort and streamline processesYou bring strong system design, integration and troubleshooting experience across complex tech environmentsYou have excellent communication skills and can translate technical depth into clarity for diverse audiencesYou take ownership, work autonomously, and thrive in high-trust, collaborative environmentsYoure motivated by mentoring and sharing your expertise to lift the teamYoure across security, compliance and governance considerations in enterprise environmentsYou stay curious always learning, experimenting and finding smarter ways to solve problemsBonus: Youve got a background in software development and are eager to build at the edge of whats possibleAbout the teamThe Internal AI Solutions team sits within the Technology Experience group in our IT Supergroup. Our mission is to enable every Canvanaut to harness the full potential of AI tools, and we do this by supporting and evolving our internal AI assistant platforms like Glean, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude and Gemini.
