This role blends tax compliance, business advisory, and virtual CFO services, focusing on strategic insights, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.This is not a bookkeeping role. Ideal candidates have strong experience in month-end/year-end processes and delivering actionable business advice. Youll collaborate with Directors to grow the advisory division and have the opportunity to lead a future team.Key Responsibilities:Manage client portfolios ($1M-$10M turnover) across various industriesPrepare and review tax returns and financial statementsDeliver advisory and virtual CFO services: budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, cash flowProvide strategic advice to improve client performanceUtilise Fathom, Spotlight, and Xero for financial reportingSupport business development and cross-selling of advisory servicesMentor junior team members as the division expandsAbout You:CA or CPA qualified with 7+ years public practice experienceStrong technical and advisory skills including month-end/year-end processesCommercially minded with excellent client communicationProficient in Xero and reporting tools like Fathom or SpotlightMotivated leader ready to build and grow advisory servicesAbout the Firm:Our client is one of Brisbanes largest Chartered Accounting firms outside the CBD, renowned for exceptional client service, innovative structuring, and proactive advice.
