This role is pivotal in shaping the strategic delivery of key projects that support local business growth, enhance tourism, and strengthen community engagement.Reporting to the Manager Economic Development and Tourism, youll guide a small, dynamic team while overseeing a diverse portfolio of economic programs, tourism campaigns, and events. You''ll also collaborate with a wide range of stakeholdersfrom community groups and local businesses to government agencies.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinating the day-to-day operations of the economic development teamLeading the implementation of Councils Economic Development and Tourism StrategyOverseeing strategic marketing initiatives such as Visit Echuca Moama, Visit River Country and Live Work InvestManaging tourism events and supporting regional economic development projectsBuild and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, government partners, and the wider communityIdeal Candidate profileYou are a driven and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of economic development and tourism.
