This role is a key member of the site leadership team and is responsible for driving profitable growth by providing strong financial guidance, strategic insights, and operational support. This role will partner closely with site operations and leadership, delivering data-driven recommendations and maintaining strong governance. You''ll ensure financial compliance, support cost management, lead budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to a customer-centric culture. Your main duties will include but not be limited to;Provide advice on financial impacts of site operations and activitiesDrive cost reduction initiatives with measurable KPIs (materials, labour, overheads)Mitigate financial risks with robust strategies and controlsManage budgets, forecasts, P&L, balance sheet, and monthly reportingConduct costing, ROI analysis, and end-of-month/year proceduresMaintain compliance with legislative, regulatory, and audit requirementsOversee intercompany banking transactions and fixed asset inventoriesSupport external audit processes and ensure clean audit outcomesBuild and strengthen internal and external customer relationshipsLead training and development for finance team membersDevelop dashboards and performance scorecards for operational visibilityOther ad hoc duties as per directedThe PersonYou are a commercially minded finance professional with a passion for partnering with operations and driving business performance. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are solutions-oriented, and have a proactive approach to risk and compliance. To be successful in this role, you will have:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA or CA qualification (or working towards it)Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial reportingDeep understanding of corporate governance and risk managementProficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/business softwareAbility to analyse complex data and present actionable insightsLeadership skills with experience developing and training teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience working in a manufacturing, FMCG or similar environment (highly desirable)Proven ability to work under pressure and make timely decisionsStrong process management and organisational agilityBenefits for YouAt Patties Food Group, we believe in taking care of our people.
