The position Reason Group is seeking a motivated and dynamic Senior Account Director (Business Development) to join our organization. In this role, you will accelerate revenue growth, forge strategic partnerships with clients and partners, and enhance our corporate presence across Federal and State Government, Defence, and large enterprises. You are a proven leader with a successful track record in sales, a deep understanding of digital transformation, and extensive experience within the Australian Government digital landscape. You will be part of the Client Account Services team, working independently to unlock new market opportunities, develop client relationships, and shape our overall business strategy. Key Responsibilities - Revenue Growth And New Business Development Develop and execute an integrated sales plan prioritizing revenue growth and client acquisition, focusing on Federal and State Government, Defence sectors, and large enterprises. Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities. Develop client and partner relationships to drive new opportunities and expand our business. Contribute to leadership forums and governance committees on sales and client engagement strategies. What makes you a great fit? Proven success in meeting sales growth targets in digital transformation or business consulting within the public sector. Extensive experience managing senior client relationships in Federal and State Government, Defence, and large enterprises. Exceptional communication skills for influencing, engaging, and negotiating with senior stakeholders at SES level or C Suite. Ability to prepare high-quality, concise responses to tenders, proposals, and presentations, ensuring compliance with government requirements, legal, and corporate guidelines. Business-minded with the ability to collaborate effectively with delivery, presales, and marketing teams.
