At QPSC, every student is valued, supported and celebrated, making it a purposeful and rewarding place to work and make a lasting impact.Your OpportunityAs the Head of Department - Senior Schooling, you will:Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiativesParticipate in delivering the vision of Early Childhood and State Schools DivisionDevelop the quality of teaching and learningNurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.The Head of Department is accountable to and under the direction of the Principal or delegate.Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Department - Senior Schooling, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Inspire a positive and aspirational learning culture by setting and maintaining high expectations for student engagement, achievement, and wellbeing.Support the operation and compliance of the College''s Registered Training Organisation (RTO), ensuring alignment with national standards and the delivery of high-quality VET programs.Monitor, track, and analyse academic and vocational data, including QCE Tracking, to drive improvement, inform decisions, and implement timely interventions for students at risk.Provide support across all nine campuses, working collaboratively with staff, students, and families in a flexible and proactive manner.Contribute to the professional development of teaching teams and foster partnerships with external agencies and training providers.Promote a strong culture of post-school success for all students.Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
