Corporate Performance Reporting Director24 June, 2025FinanceMelbourne, AustraliaFull timeHybridIn this role you will:The Corporate Performance Reporting Director is responsible for managing and directing all aspects of financial planning and budgeting of the Web Travel Group, partnering with the business, regional teams, and senior management to support key strategic financial decision making. This is a key finance leadership role within the Group, reporting directly to the Group Finance Director with visibility and exposure at the Board level.Working closely with the Group CFO, Group Finance Director and WebBeds CFO, this role is an integral link between the business operations and the reporting and requirements of the ASX-listed Group entity. This role requires collaboration across all business finance teams in theorganisation to align financial strategies with the business goals and to ensure that fiscal performance is appropriately monitored andreported.As a key member of the finance team, the Corporate Performance Reporting Director will drive continuous improvement in financial processes and maintain effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partnersKey Responsibilities.Develop and maintain the financial models to forecast future financial performance.Manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational goals.Develop rolling forecasts to provide updated financial projections.Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Analyse financial results, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modelling.Prepare and present regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports utilising the technology investments in systems and reporting tools.Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards.Collaborate with department heads and senior management to understand their financial needs and provide relevant insights.Act as a trusted advisor, helping business units and senior management to make informed financial decisions.Participate in cross-functional projects, offering financial expertise and strategic support.Management of the Year-End and Half-Year investor reporting process, including: investor presentation compilation, broker consensus analysis and summarisation and collaboration with the Investor Relations Manager to provide complete external stakeholder information.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Performance Reporting function.Leverage financial software and tools to streamline reporting and analysis processes.Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in financial planning and analysis.Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.Support Business Development activities through accounting and due diligence support and provide guidance to the CFO and business management to enable decision-making support.Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the financial impact of various business decisions.Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies.The skills we would love to see in your suitcase.Minimum 10 years'' experience in accountingProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointPreferably to have OneStream and D365 system knowledgeStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insightsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholdersAbility to think strategically and contribute to long-term financial planning and business strategy developmentFlexible and Adaptable to changing priorities and business environmentProblem solving and attention to detailAble to communicate effectively & professionally both verbally and in writingGood multitasking skills and able to prioritize and meet deadlinesAble to effectively build working relationships with other areas of the business and enjoy working in a teamStrong business partnering skills and ability to communicate complex financial information clearlyWebBeds is a global digital travel marketplace for the travel trade, an intermediary connecting hotels and other travel service suppliers to a distribution network of travel buyers all over the world.
