Key to the success of this role is interdependencies and balancing competing demands in line with agreed timelines, targets and expected level of quality to ensure organisational objectives are achieved.As a leader, you will influence senior stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of the best outcomes for the business, considering legislative compliance, financial data integrity and maintenance of appropriate controls.Role ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of management reporting and analysis of organisation''s financial performance to ensure senior management can effectively respond to changing circumstances and developmentsDrive the delivery of high-quality budgeting and management reporting for the organisation and its related agencies and deliver insightful analysis to inform decision makingProvide expert financial advice and professional support to the executive, management and finance teams to analyse and interpret financial information in respect of the organisation''s financial position by advising on trends and issues, providing options and carrying out impact analysis to inform decision makingPartner with the executive, management, and relevant finance teams to identify and provide expert financial advice on strategic resourcing issues that impact on savings targets, funding, and develop strategies and proposals to address the identified issues to ensure the targets and business outcomes of the organisation and its related agencies are achievedDevelop and implement systems, policies and processes to ensure the accuracy of financial information and the highest levels of corporate governanceProvide timely and compliant financial results and projections, PRIME submissions, information and schedules by the required dates to ensure the organisation and all of its related agencies meet their reporting obligations to relevant stakeholders including NSW Treasury.Provide guidance and support to build capability and continuous improvement to improve efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes and systemsWhat does our ideal candidate look like?Experienced Finance Manager within a similar professional, complex settingProactive, strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate across a broad range of stakeholdersDemonstrable success in influencing strategy through collaboration, consultation data driven decision makingAn inquisitive nature with the ability to interrogate data in order to contribute to the delivery of actionable insights to a range of stakeholdersExperience in Budgeting and Forecasting, Reporting, Analytics, and business insightsTertiary qualifications in the field of Finance, Accounting, or similar.CA or CPA qualified.Systems experience including SAP, BW, TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) and Prime (Hyperion)If you are interested, please APPLY NOW by submitting your resume and cover letter addressing the key requirements and your motivations for applying and suitability for the role.Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $145,378 base plus superannuationClick Here to access the Role Description.
