The team provides project management, environmental impact assessment, post-consent environmental management services, and collaborates with other specialist teams within SLR to deliver comprehensive environmental solutions across various sectors.We seek an articulate, motivated, and reliable professional with 5-10 years'' experience in consulting, government, or industry. The role involves undertaking project work, mentoring junior staff, and developing client relationships regionally. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the national EAC&M Group and other multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the ongoing development of the team.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:Providing advice on best practice environmental impact assessment and management principlesManaging environmental approvals projects across multiple industriesAssisting in developing and implementing team business plans and strategiesBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with clients and internal teamsWorking within multidisciplinary teams to deliver projectsDelivering high-quality, clear reportsOccasional travel for field assessments and site walkoversSkills and experienceTo succeed, you will need:A degree in Environmental Science, Town Planning, Engineering, or related field5-10 years'' experience in environmental roles within consulting, industry, or regulationExperience leading multidisciplinary projectsClient management and business development skills are advantageousKnowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth environmental legislation and policiesExperience in sectors such as linear infrastructure, mining/resources, renewables, power, or agribusinessExcellent communication skillsAustralian citizenship or rights to work in AustraliaOur BenefitsWe pride ourselves on our diverse, friendly, and expert team, working collaboratively to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients.
