Youll work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team.About Holsworthy Health CentreHolsworthy Health Centre is located 25 kilometres south-west of central Sydney. Located on a 20,000-hectare base, it comprises of a 41-bed inpatient ward which operates 24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Holsworthy base is also home to the Defence Force Correctional Establishment where detainees are visited by RNs daily. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730-1530 Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).Your ImpactWe are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a permanent part time capacity, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1600 to 2000 + rotating remote on-call shifts.As a Medical Officer, You WillDeliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policiesWork collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnelAssess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical supportProvide medical technical advice to Defence leadershipWork across outpatient and inpatient care settings as neededWhat Youll NeedUnrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical PractitionerFRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational RegistrationMinimum 2 years full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 yearsAustralian Citizen for Baseline Security Clearance requirementsWhy Join Us?Serco is a trusted partner of the Australian Defence Force, providing integrated healthcare across 40+ bases.
