This newly created role, will join a dynamic team and lead projects focused on identifying, assessing, and remediating contaminated sitesYour role will includeLead and manage contaminated land site assessments and remediation projects.Oversee field investigations, sampling, and data interpretation to prepare risk-based assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines.Develop and guide our clients to implement cost-effective remediation strategies to mitigate risks posed by contamination.Prepare detailed reports and technical specifications for clients, and stakeholders.Provide guidance and mentorship to peers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Ensure projects meet timelines, budgetary requirements, and quality standards.About YouYoull have qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution in earth science, geology, environmental science or engineering, and be working towards relevant professional industry certificationYour work to date will have been in environmental consulting, specifically in contaminated land assessment and remediation and have a working knowledge of relevant environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices that relate to the assessment and management of contaminated land.In-depth experience in completing site investigations, and familiarity with a range of remediation technologies is a must, alongside strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Due to the nature of the work the ability to gain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and have Australian citizenship will be advantageousWhat We OfferA career with Beca will provide you with :Flexibility & Wellbeing: We recognise that achieving a work-life balance is unique to everyone.
