The NSW Department of Customer Service is offering a rare opportunity where your strategic leadership will influence regulatory enforcement, public policy, and legal outcomes that matter to millions across NSW.As Assistant General Counsel, Enforcement, you will lead a high-performing team of legal professionals supporting the enforcement priorities of Fair Trading, the Building Commission, and Revenue NSW. You will provide expert legal advice on civil and criminal litigation, regulatory compliance, and administrative law, while shaping the legal strategy of the states most critical enforcement initiatives.In this role, you will:Provide authoritative legal advice on prosecutions, enforcement actions, and administrative reviews.Lead and mentor a large team of lawyers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.Advise on complex investigations and compliance strategies to support regulatory priorities.Guide legal input into legislation, cabinet submissions, and ministerial correspondence.Ensure legal operations meet the highest standards of ethics, efficiency, and effectiveness.For more information on the role and its accountabilities, click here to view the role description.Does this sound like you?
