Leading a team of experienced delivery experts that work closely with UE sponsors to ensure programs are delivering agreed outcomes, the Head of Partnering is an essential senior role within the Strategic Program Office.This role will lead our Portfolio Partners and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that project fundamentals and quality standards are managed effectively across the University''s program investment portfolio.This support role also includes challenge components, providing an independent view of how programs are progressing. They would use their deep delivery knowledge and experience, supported by accurate and insightful program data, to highlight areas of concern and recommend remediation activities to lower delivery risk. They would also support accountable sponsors to continually define opportunities in their programs to deliver outcomes that contribute to the realisation of the University''s strategic aspirations.This role will contribute to portfolio prioritisation and oversee the implementation of multiple complex, varied and integrated programs, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment of teams to meet the University Executives (UE) objectives of the 2032 Strategy.Working closely with the Heads of Program Insights, Program Support and Program Change and Dependencies, this role will contribute to the objective of the Strategic Program Office which is to be a key enabler and driver for the University to both successfully deliver strategic programs and continually improve its institutional capability to do so.Your key responsibilities will be to:establish and lead the Program Partner team to support and improve the successful delivery of the University''s projects and programs, specifically for the 2032 Strategy and broader project portfoliobuild strong working relationships across the Strategic Program Office, broader VP Strategy Portfolio, UE and their delivery teams to ensure the objectives of the Strategic Program Office are met and stakeholders value the service providedprovide leadership, direction, advice and advocacy across the University at a senior leadership level, to define and support the delivery of projects and initiatives to realise the objectives of the businessadopt and implement a continuous improvement culture to ensure a consistent and effective approach to portfolio, program and project management and delivery - collaborating with other university PMOs to establish a consistent approach to resource management and project deliveryprovide leadership, guidance and independent views to the VP Strategy, Director Strategic Program Office, senior leadership and UE about the health and trajectory of projects and programs of work under the 2032 Strategy and broader University portfolio.About youbachelor''s degree and/or an equivalent combination of training and experiencesignificant experience and success negotiating and influencing senior stakeholders with diverse interests on a large complex programsignificant experience in the management of complex development projects/programs, including a demonstrated track record of on time and on budget delivery performance.
