We welcome everyone passionate about technology, automotive, and innovation to explore our open positions and join our team.www.appliedev.comJob Purpose:Working within a global software team and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will lead a team of software engineers to deliver middleware stack (including driver development) and support integration and board bring-up activities.Duties & Tasks include:Lead a team of on-site and external engineers to develop and maintain embedded software for mobility ECUs based on system design/requirements.Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team to develop new products from prototype to production.Take ownership of middleware software delivery and application software integration.Follow safety-critical and secure software development processes, ensuring your team delivers compliant, functional software with all necessary artefacts per ISO 26262/ISO 21434/ASPICE standards.RequirementsKey Competencies and SkillsThe ideal candidate has:A bachelor''s degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering and/or Computer Science.At least 5 years'' experience in automotive or similar industries.Strong understanding of embedded software development concepts (peripherals like DMA, communication protocols like SPI, CAN, RTOS configuration).Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirements, design, implementation, review, testing.Proficiency with tools and systems such as:C/C++ Vector ToolkitsLauterbach TRACE32 or similarGit version controlBuild tools like Make, CMakeConfiguration management systems like PolarionJiraAutomotive protocols: CAN, EthernetExperience with root cause analysis and risk management (e.g., FMEA)Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (Infineon TriCore, NXP, Renesas, STM32)Strong team leadership skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, complex environments and be adaptable.Excellent organizational and communication skills in English.Desirable skills include experience with:Safety-critical software for ASIL-rated systems (ISO 26262)AUTOSAR Classic BSW stack configurationFunctional safety and ASIL developmentAutOSAR Classic Platform: BSW configuration, RTE, MCAL, CDD, SWC integrationFlexRay, diagnostics (UDS)OTA, CybersecurityModel-based development (MATLAB/Simulink)BenefitsIncludes onsite cafe and parking, flexible hours, and access to innovative technology.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineeringIndustriesIT Services and Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
