The position is also responsible for the day-to-day management of car parking and security at the main hospital site.Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, you will oversee the operations of the respective portfolio of services and assist the Director of Corporate Services in the strategic management and direction of such services.You will possess tertiary level qualifications in business or building engineering (or a related field) and have proven experience leading a diverse range of services, with the ability to develop team performance, build capability, mentoring and coaching.Key responsibilities include:Provide leadership and management support to ensure the achievement of WGHGs strategic directions and annual Statement of Priorities as they relate to such Services.Lead and promote a strong internal service culture, ensuring a service delivery approach that is responsive to the operational and strategic needs of the organisation.Ensure strong focus around corporate governance, compliance and risk management systems and processes.About our organisationThe West Gippsland Healthcare Group is a customer focused health organisation providing acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, residential care and community health services to 45,000 people in the rural, urban residential, agricultural and industrial areas located within the Baw Baw Shire and beyond.
