While we operate in a fast-paced setting, we make space for mentorship, creativity, and professional growth.Youll work alongside talented professionals who are committed to making a differencewhether thats improving internal platforms, delivering value to millions of users, or supporting one another across time zones.Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, this is a permanent full-time role to be based in Sydney with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have flexible work-life balance.Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and mentor engineering teams and offshore partnersOversee software development, maintenance and Tier 3 production support, when neededAnalyzing customer and system issues and ensuring achievement of service level agreementsPartner with Product and Project teams to align tech strategy with business goalsDrive continuous improvement and innovation in coding standards and deployment practicesProvide clear progress reporting to senior managementContribute to strategic decisions, resource planning, and budgetingRequirements:10+ years in software development, including 2+ years in a leadership roleStrong technical background in Java, SQL, .Net, C++, Cloud technologies or similarExpertise in Agile, SDLC, and modern development practicesProven experience managing offshore teams and working across time zonesStrong communication, problem-solving, and project management skillsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalentWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
