We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join The Royal Melbourne Hospital.Quality Improvement LeadParkville PrecinctDeliver Safer Care Victorias Safer Together Program across the precinctCoordinate quality projects that drive meaningful healthcare improvementWork collaboratively across seven major Victorian health servicesAbout UsThe Parkville Local Health Service Network (Parkville LHSN) is made up of seven health services (Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, the Royal Womens Hospital, the Royal Childrens Hospital, the Royal Eye and Ear Hospital, Dental Health Services Victoria and Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service).LHSNs have been created to support reform of the Victorian health system for the benefit of patients and staff, and the sustainability of the system. The Government has asked LHSNs to initially focus on four areas: Access, Equity and Flow, Workforce, Quality and Safety and Shared Services.This is a 12-month, Part Time, Fixed Term position working 38 hours per fortnight.Your OpportunityThe Quality Improvement Lead is responsible for leading and supporting several projects within Parkville LHSNs quality and safety priority area. This role will work closely with and report to the Quality and Improvement Manager and the Parkville LHSN health services to develop, coordinate and implement the agreed Parkville LHSN quality and safety initiatives and activities.As the Quality Improvement Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Safer Care Victorias Safer Together Program (STP) a statewide initiative focused on creating a learning health system that is safer, more person-centred and sustainable.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate quality and safety initiatives and improvement projects across the Parkville LHSN.Support the delivery of STP, including collaboration with Safer Care Victoria and local health service teams.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practice and expertise across the LHSN.Support governance reporting and project evaluation activities to track performance and drive impact.Engage widely with clinicians, operational leaders and stakeholders to support the quality and safetyAbout YouExperience in a tertiary healthcare environment.Demonstrated success in managing service improvement or quality projects.Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and change management.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.Why work with us?A values-based organisation offering great prospects for career diversity and professional advancement, including training opportunities.Salary packaging options, discounted onsite car parking, close to public transport.Generous leave entitlements that include 5 weeks annual leave per year and monthly ADOs for full time staff!To view the full position decsription, click here!Interested?
