People and Safety Partner / Fitness for Work2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsAbout the roleThis is a permanent full-time position in the People and Safety team, based in Moruya. The successful candidate will act as a strategic HR consultant to management, developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals. Responsibilities include providing HR advice, managing employee relations, identifying training needs, supporting talent acquisition and retention, and ensuring compliance with HR regulations.Additionally, the Partner contributes to the development and implementation of the Fitness for Work and Return-to-Work Program, working with all levels of Council to maintain health, safety, and workers'' compensation compliance.The starting salary is $84,580.30 per annum plus 12% superannuation. For more details, see the Position Description.About YouWe seek candidates with relevant qualifications and extensive experience in Health, Safety, Case Management, or Injury Management. You should be an accredited Return to Work Coordinator in NSW or willing to obtain this, with knowledge of NSW workers'' compensation and WHS legislation. You will also have:Proven experience as a HR business partner or similar role, with knowledge of local government awards and HR legislation.Strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.A passion for fostering positive organizational culture and continuous improvement.Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.About UsEurobodalla Shire, located on Yuin Country in NSW, offers a coastal lifestyle with access to Canberra and Sydney.
