Overview:Be part of a transformational programShape the future of professional and support services at RMIT UniversityLead impactful reforms to enhance staff and student experiences globallyAbout The RoleThe Program Director for the Enabling Services Reform (ESR) program holds a strategic leadership position, responsible for delivering complex projects and programs on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational priorities. ESR is a key initiative supporting RMITs Knowledge with Action strategy, driving significant improvements in staff and student experiences by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of professional services.As Program Director, you will oversee the full lifecycle of ESR programs from initial planning and development through implementation and seamless transition into business-as-usual operations. As a pivotal member of the ESR leadership team, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the programs success and lasting impact.To be successful in this position, youll have:Proven experience leading complex projects and programs, consistently achieving successful results.Exceptional skills in planning, execution, and driving outcomes.Demonstrated strong leadership with effective communication, interpersonal, and delegation abilities.Capability to translate high-level objectives into actionable projects and deliverables.Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information, foster relationships, and manage stakeholder expectations.Expertise in engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels, from senior executives to team leaders.Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify challenges, and implement practical solutions.Familiarity with RMITs projects, processes, and systems is advantageous.Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.About the Operations PortfolioThe Operations Portfolio enables an integrated, enterprise-wide delivery for best practice student and staff experiences.The portfolio incorporates the following functions: Data & Analytics (D&A), Finance, Information and Technology Services (ITS), Governance, Legal and Strategic Operations (GLSO), Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO), People function and Property Services Group (PSG).The portfolio houses significant drivers and delivery components across the staff and student journeys and enables the overall experience for both groups. The Portfolio is integral in bringing the RMIT Knowledge with Action Strategy to life.
