This is a newly created, strategic role that will lead the creation of the Universitys Enterprise Data function and unify all data under a single umbrella.Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the CDO will develop a comprehensive data and analytics strategy, consolidating platforms, tools, and teams across the organisation. You will be empowered to resolve inconsistencies and build a single source of truth, ensuring our data is used to inform outcomes, not just narratives.You will lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee the functions of Data Management, Analytics and Insights, Integration, and Data Platforms to transform the Universitys institutional data into a strategic asset.A key part of this role is to guide University-wide initiatives on the utilisation and optimisation of artificial intelligence and to champion a culture where data informs outcomes and drives innovation. This position will be pivotal in enhancing decision-making, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the University remains agile, transparent, and positioned to deliver on its strategic goals.About YouWe are seeking a transformational data leader, a proven executive capable of building and maturing a data-driven culture within a large, complex organisation. You are a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, ready to establish the University''s first enterprise-wide data function.
